Mayor Rudolf Jacob had invited the members of the Committee for Public Facilities, Construction and Environmental Protection of the municipality of Winnweiler to a meeting on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, in the town hall.
Following a restricted invitation to tender, the heating, ventilation and plumbing lot for the installation of a farm daycare center at Hofgut Neumühle in Münchweiler was unanimously awarded to Kühner GmbH, Winnweiler, at a gross bid price of €35,470.71. The cost estimate was almost exactly in this range at € 35,984.74.
Furthermore, the mayor was authorized to award the electrical work to be tendered in January for the construction of a farm daycare center to the lowest bidder. This resolution was also passed unanimously.
The mayor was authorized to award the contract for the installation of a voice alarm system for the extension and basic renovation of the Sippersfeld elementary school to the lowest bidder following a corresponding invitation to tender.
This was followed by status reports on the maintenance and renovation of bridge structures under the responsibility of the municipality of Winnweiler as well as the necessary fire protection upgrades to the Imsbach elementary school, the renaturation of a body of water on the Alsenz and compensatory measures in the forest in the Falkenstein district.
