School social work and child and youth work
The municipality of Winnweiler is actively involved in promoting children and young people in the region and supports services that include care, leisure activities and social support.
Youth work is organized by the youth welfare department of the association municipality.
School social work takes place at elementary school in the municipality and is a low-threshold, confidential and free point of contact for pupils, parents and teachers. It accompanies children in their everyday school life, promotes their social skills and supports them with individual challenges.
