Elementary School Providing Support
Currently, all available spots in the elementary schools with after-school care programs have been filled.
The realities of family life have changed significantly over the past few decades. In many families today, both parents work—often out of economic necessity. At the same time, family and social structures have evolved. Grandparents are not always available to provide childcare, whether due to their own jobs, geographical distance, or personal circumstances. Nor do all families have a social network that can regularly provide childcare.
As a result, children are spending an ever-increasing portion of their day away from home. In addition to school, after-school care is becoming increasingly important. Families rely on reliable care options that make it easier to plan their daily lives and help them balance family and work.
The Winnweiler Association of Municipalities is the operating entity for the after-school care elementary school, which it runs as a voluntary program.
By resolution dated August 27, 2026, the Municipal Council adopted the bylaws governing the after-school care elementary school within the framework of the Winnweiler Municipal Association’s responsibility for school operations.
The application for admission must be submitted in writing to the sponsoring organization. Please use the form below, fill it out completely, sign it, and send it via email to the contact person(s) listed here.
