Mayor Rudolf Jacob had invited the members of the Association Council to the first meeting of this calendar year on Thursday, January 9, 2025, in the meeting room of the town hall.
Firstly, the municipal council unanimously decided to award the contract for the heating, ventilation and sanitary work for the 3rd construction phase of the extension and basic renovation of Sippersfeld elementary school. This work, which had been estimated by the planning office to cost € 130,000.00, was put out to limited tender. Two offers were received. The most favorable bid with a gross order value of € 108,035.69 was submitted by the company Wust & Heck GmbH, Kirchberg. This bid was accordingly awarded the contract unanimously.
This was followed by the unanimous authorization of the mayor to award the contract for the construction development and timber supply for the three fire stations in the local communities of Börrstadt, Breunigweiler and Steinbach. The measures are due to start in Steinbach in March. The construction work in Breunigweiler will then follow in April and work is due to start in Börrstadt in May. In order to avoid any delays, the municipal council unanimously authorized the mayor to award the respective contracts for the timber deliveries. The mayor was also authorized to award the construction development work following a corresponding invitation to tender. The cost estimates here amount to € 70,000.00 for the fire station in Börrstadt, € 125,000.00 for the fire station in Breunigweiler and € 119,000.00 for the building in Steinbach.
The mayor then announced the 2023 annual results of the investments of the municipality of Winnweiler. These are as follows:
- AÖR Solarpark Börrstadt: annual profit of € 167,134.40,
- AÖR Energieprojekte Winnweiler: Annual profit € 14,386.62.
- Breitbandinfrastrukturgesellschaft Winnweiler GmbH: annual profit € 19,206.52 and
- Neue Energie Donnersbergkreis GmbH: annual profit of € 62,247.86.
As a final point, the mayor was unanimously authorized to conclude a development agreement with the company Immo 150 GmbH & Co KG and the local municipality of Lohnsfeld for the development of the Lorenheck industrial and commercial area in the Lohnsfeld district on behalf of the local authority and the local authority works.
