Mayor Rudolf Jacob had invited the members of the municipal council to a public meeting in the town hall on 25.02.2025. First of all, Mr. Thomas Wiemer-Scheidel, Bündnis 90/Grüne parliamentary group, was appointed to replace council member Brigitte Enders. Brigitte Enders had declared her resignation to the Mayor. This was followed by the awarding of contracts for five trades in the course of the conversion and extension of the Sippersfeld elementary school.
The following contracts were awarded unanimously:
- Lot 45, 3rd construction phase, electrical engineering, to Mandler Elektrotechnik GmbH, at a gross tender price of €82,759.48. The estimated costs here were €92,000.00 gross.
- Lot 46, 3rd construction phase, electrical engineering (voice alarm system) to the company Hieronymus Systemhaus GmbH, at a gross tender price of € 27,567.18. The estimated costs here were €29,00000 gross.
- Lot 214, 3rd construction phase, dry construction work, to the company WDS GmbH, at a gross tender price of € 85,447.59. The estimated costs here were €80,000.00 gross.
- Lot 215, 3rd construction phase, thermal insulation composite system, to the company Heil Maler GmbH, at a gross tender price of €50,662.50. The estimated costs here were €55,000.00 gross.
- Lot 217, 3rd construction phase, carpentry work, to the company Holzwerkstätten Stutzinger, at a gross tender price of € 45,728.13. The estimated costs here were €45,000.00 gross.
This was followed by the awarding of Lot 5, the pottery, wallpapering, painting and varnishing work for the establishment of a farm daycare center at Hofgut Neumühle. The company Thomas GmbH was the lowest bidder with a gross bid price of €23,461.98. The estimated costs here were €25,676.09.
The contract was then awarded for the renovation planning of the bridges over the Alsenz in Werkstraße, in the Hochstein district of Winnweiler, and for the bridge over the Alsenz in Mühlstraße, in the Alsenbrück-Langmeil district of Winnweiler. Both contracts, which include the basic investigation including site inspection, preparation of as-built plans, a static recalculation, preparation of a renovation concept, support in obtaining tenders and the awarding of contracts and construction supervision, were unanimously awarded to CDI, Rockenhausen, at a gross price of €29,631.00.
This was followed by status reports on the establishment of the Quartiersentwicklungsgesellschaft Winnweiler (QEW), digitalization in administration and the 2024 operational evaluation of the Winnweiler municipal fire department.
