Family tour: "Yes, that's how it was, the old knights!"
As part of the Falkenstein summer tours, hiking guide Andreas Fischer offers guided family tours on two consecutive days, exploring the historic walls of the castle village of Falkenstein.
As the castle guard, he guides you through the village and the castle grounds and is sure to have some entertaining stories to tell! Of dragons? Of princesses? And of ghosts? - What fair princess or noble knight will show up in his costume? A castle always has a lot to tell and it is exciting to hear how the knights of old fared.
The guided family tour is offered by the local community of Falkenstein in cooperation with the tourist office of the municipality of Winnweiler. Length: approx. 3 km, duration: approx. 2 hours. It is also recommended that you bring sufficient drinks with you.
