Falkenstein summer tours 2025
Before you can take a well-earned break and stop off at the Kronbuchenhütte, you first have to climb the Kupferberg. Wonderful views over our beautiful North Palatinate homeland are guaranteed on this hike!
The view from the Kupferberghütte near Imsbach into the North Palatinate countryside is a must-see. And when a cool glass of wine and a small snack round off the experience, the Palatinate experience is perfect.
Past the "Dicken Eiche", the hike follows narrow paths through the Katharinental valley. After the "Elsenbrünnchen", we tackle the ascent to the Kupferberg, where we are rewarded with an (almost) boundless view of our beautiful homeland. After a stop and rest at the Kupferberghütte, we hike back to Falkenstein, but first we round off the enjoyable hut tour with a short rest at the Kronbuchenhütte.
The meeting point is at 11 am at the bell tower at the cemetery/cemetery road, 67808 Falkenstein. Adults pay 5 euros; children (7-16 years) pay 2.50 euros. Good footwear is recommended.
