Chlorination is used exclusively to ensure a hygienically safe drinking water supply at all times. The dosing is carried out in such a way that the values are within the legal requirements of the Drinking Water Ordinance. No adverse health effects are to be expected. Please note: Chlorinated water is unsuitable for aquariums.

Precautionary measure

To rule out any risk, we ask all affected households to boil drinking water for at least 10 minutes before using it for drinking, cooking or preparing food and drinks.

The limit value exceedance is expected to continue for a few more days. As soon as the drinking water quality is restored and chlorination is discontinued, we will inform you immediately.
