U.S. Army Garrison Rhineland-Palatinate organizes German-American friendship concert in spring

The U.S. Army Garrison Rhineland-Palatinate presents a free spring concert on March 7, 2026 starting at 7:30 p.m. in the Fruchthalle in Kaiserslautern.

The concert by the U.S. Army Europe and Africa Band & Chorus, under the direction of Lieutenant Colonel Richard Winkels, is a tribute to the strong, long-standing German-American partnership in the Kaiserslautern region. The USAREUR Band is considered the largest musical formation of the U.S. Army outside the United States and serves as the leading musical ambassador of the U.S. land forces in Europe and Africa. The musical spectrum includes classical music as well as more modern pieces and thus meets every musical taste.

Admission to this concert is free of charge. Tickets will be available in advance at the German-American Citizens' Office in the North Town Hall, ground floor, entrance Lauterstraße 2 in Kaiserslautern, on Friday, February 20, 2026, from 1 to 4 pm. Advance bookings by telephone are not possible; 2 tickets will be allocated per person.

At the spring concert on March 7, 2026, the U.S. Army Europe and Africa Band & Choir will present a varied program.
