The Palatinate campaign for consideration and nature conservation
At the Igelborn hut in Winnweiler, a very special information board catches the eye: the hidden object picture. In cooperation with the Donnersberg forestry office, the board shows in a playful way how we should behave in the forest and what consideration for nature and other people is important.
With the campaign "Uffbasse! - for consideration and nature conservation" campaign, Pfalz Touristik and its partners have been actively raising awareness of considerate coexistence and nature-friendly behavior for more than two years. A year ago, the first hidden object picture for the campaign was erected as a physical information board - in the meantime, almost 100 more locations have been added.
A total of five hidden object pictures were placed throughout the district - because vacations and leisure time in the fresh air should not only be fun, but also relaxing. This is best achieved when we are mindful of ourselves, others and nature.
We are delighted about the cooperation between our tourism office and the forest district manager Dieter Gass (Donnersberg Forestry Office) and the forestry foreman Valeri Ruks (Sippersfeld local authority). While the forestry office was responsible for the financing and construction of the support, the municipality of Winnweiler provided the information board at the Igelborn hut.
