Dog tax

The dog tax is a municipal tax levied on dog owners within the municipality of Winnweiler. It is one of the voluntary types of tax that local municipalities can use to finance municipal tasks. The dog tax is levied on the basis of the Rhineland-Palatinate Municipal Tax Act (KAG RP) and the applicable bylaws of the local municipalities. The tax rates are set by resolution of the local municipal councils.
